Strangers

In my Bible readings I am in Genesis Ch 29 vs 4 and 15&16. GOD promised to bless Abraham and his entire generations to follow him for his Faithfulness and Love for GOD. Verse 4 again tells of the blessing to follow through Issac to his son Jacob. There was a very profound statement in verse 4 in the latter part of this verse says " that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger". In verses 15 & 16 Jacob had just had his dream (vision)and in this familiar portion of scripture here in the Old Testament, I believe GOD revealed HIMSELF to Jacob and spoke to his heart and in the latter part of verse 16 Jacob said, "Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not". Let us understand dear Christian (Born Again), that we are starngers to this land. We are only here for one reason. To bring Glory and Honor to our LORD and HOLY SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!!! It's all about HIM and Praising HIS HOLY Name. We are to brag about JESUS through our daily living and presenting ourself as living sacrifices to HIM!! We all need be counted in that number to be found Faithful to our LORD JESUS lest we say the same as Jacob.." Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not". Let us all receive every blessing GOD wants us to have while we are here in this battle. Just let me put it pretty plain..GOD gave us Everything HE had....Can't we give HIM Everything we have??
